BREAKING GROUND FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
Luther Classical College (LCC) will build student houses on its beautiful 16-acre Western prairie campus.
Student houses will be spaces where Christian friendships are cultivated by God’s Word to include vibrant conversation, sincere devotion, and Christian love.
Students will study together, cook together, have meals together, and carry over into their homes away from home the invaluable lessons and wisdom gained from their coursework.
Friendships will last a lifetime, because they will be formed upon a foundation that endures to eternity.
HOW IS HOUSING SET UP?
- Three student houses to be built for the first incoming class
- Two-story Georgian style homes matching the rest of LCC’s buildings, thus tying together the campus with a consistent and distinguished beauty
- Separate houses for men and women
- Accommodations for sixteen residents in each house with eight residents per floor
- Double-occupancy bedroom quarters
- Shared living room, kitchen, dining, and bathroom accommodations on each floor
- Parking sufficient for all students living on campus
- A total of 48 students to be housed, about 75% of the first incoming class and nearly 40% of the student body in the second year
- More houses to be built as the student population grows, keeping campus residency at around 50% of the student population indefinitely
